The Langqing is a rare and ancient sighthound breed originating in the Guangxi region of southern China, where it has existed among local communities for many centuries. They are agile, alert, and independent dogs with the swift and lean body typical of sighthound breeds. Bred for hunting in the subtropical terrain of southern China, they were used to chase and course small to medium game using their exceptional speed and keen eyesight.
