Chongqing Dog

The Chongqing Dog is an ancient and exceedingly rare breed originating from the Chongqing municipality of southwestern China, with artifacts suggesting its existence as far back as 2,000 years ago during the Han Dynasty. It is a confident, loyal, and protective breed with a strong territorial instinct and a calm demeanor within its family circle. This breed was historically used for hunting and as a guard dog, protecting homes and estates in rural China.
