Donggyeongi

The Donggyeongi is a rare and ancient Korean breed characterized by its naturally short or absent tail, a trait documented in Korean historical texts and artwork dating back over a thousand years. It is a calm, loyal, and gentle dog with a quiet temperament, historically revered in Korean culture as a symbol of good fortune. The breed served primarily as a companion and village dog in Korea, and its unique tailless trait was considered a prized and auspicious characteristic by Korean nobility and commoners alike.
