The Romanian Raven Shepherd Dog, also known as the Ciobănesc Românesc Corb, is a rare and ancient breed originating from Romania, particularly associated with the Transylvanian and Moldavian regions. It is a courageous, independent, and highly territorial dog that is deeply loyal to its owner but instinctively suspicious of strangers and other animals. This breed was developed to serve as a livestock guardian, protecting flocks from wolves and other predators in rugged Romanian landscapes.
