Field Spaniel

Developed in England during the 19th century, the Field Spaniel emerged from similar stock as the Cocker Spaniel and was refined for fieldwork in varied terrain. They are docile, sensitive, and affectionate, known for their willing and tractable nature while also possessing a playful and occasionally stubborn side. Originally bred as a hunting spaniel to flush and retrieve game birds in dense cover and wet conditions.
