Denmark Feist

The Denmark Feist is a small hunting dog developed in the rural American South, taking its name from Denmark, Tennessee, where distinct bloodlines were carefully maintained by local hunters. It is a bold, energetic, and alert dog with strong instincts and a tenacious character suited to the outdoors. The breed was developed primarily to hunt squirrel and small tree-dwelling game, using its keen nose and sharp voice to locate and tree quarry for hunters.
