Bắc Hà

The Bắc Hà originates from the mountainous Bắc Hà region of northern Vietnam, where it has been kept by local ethnic minority communities for centuries. It is known for being independent, alert, and loyal to its family while remaining reserved with strangers. This breed was developed primarily for hunting game in rugged highland terrain and for guarding remote rural homesteads.
