Toy Fox Terrier

The Toy Fox Terrier is an American breed developed in the early 20th century, primarily bred down from the Smooth Fox Terrier with the introduction of several toy breeds to reduce its size. They are lively, alert, and highly intelligent dogs that are intensely loyal and affectionate with their families while retaining a strong terrier personality and drive. This breed was used by American farmers to hunt and kill rats and small vermin, and it also became popular as a circus performing dog due to its high trainability.
