Gończy Polski

The Gończy Polski, or Polish Hunting Dog, is an ancient breed originating in Poland with roots traceable to medieval times, making it one of the oldest scent hound breeds in Eastern Europe. They are determined, energetic, and passionate hunters that are loyal and affectionate with their families but can be somewhat independent and stubborn. They were developed specifically to hunt game in the varied and often difficult terrain of Polish forests and mountains, trailing quarry by scent with great endurance.
