The Thai Bangkaew Dog is an ancient breed originating from the Bangkaew village in the Phichit province of central Thailand, believed to have developed through crossbreeding with local wild canines centuries ago. They are loyal and protective of their families but can be wary of strangers and dominant toward other dogs, requiring experienced handling. This breed was traditionally used as a guard dog and companion by Thai villagers, protecting homes and properties.
