Burgos Pointer

The Burgos Pointer, or Perdiguero de Burgos, is one of Spain's oldest pointing breeds, originating in the Castile region of Spain and recorded in historical documents dating back to the 16th century. It is a gentle, obedient, and methodical dog known for its calm temperament both in the field and at home, making it an excellent companion as well as a hunter. The breed was developed to hunt large game such as deer and partridge across the vast plains of central Spain, excelling at both pointing and retrieving.
