Thai Ridgeback

The Thai Ridgeback is one of the world's oldest and rarest breeds, originating in eastern Thailand thousands of years ago where it remained largely isolated and pure for centuries. They are independent, intelligent, and highly athletic dogs that are loyal to their owners but can be aloof and dominant, requiring firm and experienced handling. This breed was used by Thai people to hunt prey such as cobra and other small animals, as well as to escort carts and guard their owners.
