Serbian Defence Dog

The Serbian Defence Dog (Srpski odbrambeni pas) is a modern Serbian working breed developed in the 1990s at Belgrade Zoo, with the aim of giving Serbia a native defence dog of its own. Its foundation stock combined European wolf, Rottweiler, Neapolitan Mastiff and American Staffordshire Terrier lines, and it is bred primarily as a guardian and protection dog.
