Griffon Bruxellois

The Griffon Bruxellois, or Brussels Griffon, originated in Belgium in the nineteenth century, developed from small stable dogs crossed with Pugs and King Charles Spaniels. It is a charming, curious, and self-important little dog with a nearly human expression and a lively, sensitive personality that thrives on companionship. This breed was originally used in Belgian stables to hunt and control rats and vermin before becoming a beloved companion of the aristocracy.
