The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a rare American breed developed in the plantation regions of southern Georgia, with its lineage traced back several centuries to old southern catch dogs. They are devoted, loyal, protective, and trainable dogs that form extremely strong bonds with their families and serve as natural guardians. This breed was developed to catch and hold semi-feral livestock, guard plantations, and serve as a versatile working dog in the American South.
