Mudhol Hound

The Mudhol Hound, also known as the Caravan Hound or Pashmi, originated in the Deccan Plateau region of India and is one of the oldest sighthound breeds of the Indian subcontinent. It is an elegant, reserved, and independent breed that is devoted to its owner but typically aloof with strangers. It was bred by nomadic tribes and village communities for coursing and hunting small game across open, arid terrain.
