Serbian Hound

The Serbian Hound, known in its homeland as the Srpski Gonič, is one of Serbia's oldest native breeds with origins traceable to the Balkan region dating back many centuries. It is a passionate, persistent, and friendly dog with tremendous stamina and a warm disposition toward people. This breed was developed to track and hunt game such as hare and fox across the varied and often rugged landscapes of the Balkans.
