The Carolina Dog, also known as the American Dingo, is one of North America's oldest breeds, with roots tracing back thousands of years to dogs that migrated with ancient peoples across the Bering land bridge. They are independent, cautious, and intelligent, often forming strong bonds with their family while remaining reserved around strangers. Historically, they lived as free-ranging scavengers in the American Southeast, surviving on their own wits in the wild.
