Kerry Beagle

The Kerry Beagle is one of Ireland's oldest native hound breeds, believed to descend from ancient Celtic hounds that arrived in Ireland over two thousand years ago, with its stronghold in County Kerry. It is a sociable, enthusiastic, and determined breed with a melodious voice, known for being friendly and pack-oriented. This breed was developed to hunt hare and fox by scent, working in packs across the challenging Irish countryside alongside hunters on foot or horseback.
