Afghan Hound

The Afghan Hound is one of the oldest dog breeds, originating in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan thousands of years ago. They are known for their aloof, dignified, and independent temperament, often described as cat-like in their behavior. This breed was developed to course and hunt large prey such as leopards and deer across rugged terrain using exceptional speed and sight.
