Saint-Usuge Spaniel

The Saint-Usuge Spaniel, or Épagneul de Saint-Usuge, is a rare French spaniel breed originating from the Bresse region of eastern France, with historical records suggesting its presence dating back several centuries. They are gentle, affectionate, and eager-to-please dogs that are well-suited to family life while retaining strong hunting instincts. This breed was developed as a versatile bird dog for hunting in the wetlands and fields of the Burgundy region of France.
